Fantastic free faces - but there is a catch. I am a long time user of Facer, first on a Samsung 4 classic and now a Samsung 6. The app works great on my watch and interfaces well with the Samsung Gear app on my Android phone. The number of customized faces available is impressive - all categorized in the app for you to choose. The catch is that the faces do affect the watch's resources. If you can live with the watch dying after a day or an extended delay for tap-to-pay then go for it.

I've had this app for months, if not a few years now and it works great until it doesn't. There are times that the Face I'm using goes completely black and basically acts as if no facer mod is applied and I have to uninstall and reinstall the entire app just to get it to apply and this has been an issue that I've been having for months. I'm over it, moving on to an app that doesn't continue to disappoint.

Great selection of watch faces, easy interface, support for your own watch builder and community. Worked great with Galaxy Watch 4. However, it is not supported with GW7. Paid a yearly subscription a month or two ago and now it's unusable. Very disappointing to not have support after giving my money.

I've been using Facer for a pretty long time - like since the beginning. I will continue using it it since I have purchased a few faces. I saw some designers have recently started pricing the faces from $2.99 up to $9.99... I discovered Pujie Black last night. I paid $5 for a lifetime subscription to everything; Including all the watch faces and tools to make my own.

After over 2 years of being broken, Facer is suddenly fixed! It's all back to normal, detects my watch with no problem, and I can still access all of my purchases. Unfortunately, several faces in my favorites menu have been removed, including my absolute favorite, the Atari 2600 Pac Man. Facer's still ungodly slow, though. It now takes 2 or 3 minutes just to boot my watch. If they could fix that, I'd give it 5 stars.

Long time user, and my issue is the phone app is almost unbearable to use. Search function never brings up the majority of available faces even when using exact keywords. Also stop showing faces that are no longer available/not compatible with linked watch. Stop that constant popup telling me to turn on notifications when I don't need/want them. Fancy animations on faces is nice and all, but there should be a customization option to set the faces to static to prolong battery life.

Update to my 2023 review. Having previously used this on a fossil watch, I've given it a try on Galaxy watch. After a few weeks trouble free, the app appears to drain the battery, switching back to stock watch face and I'm back to getting day+, with facer its half day at best. This is exactly the same same issue i had with my fossil watch 😢. Otherwise, a great selection of free and paid for watch faces, perhaps too many as you can be searching for ages.

Watch faces often don't display any info, its just an image. Browsed reddit and it's been a constant issue with many users. There isnt a consistent fix for it. A lot of functions have been moved to the premium membership, or just don't exist. My favorites and recent faces show up on my watch but not on my phone.

So, subscribed to premium cause they had a Black Friday deal, a year for the cost of 2 month to month cost pretty much. All the variety and designs are very cool, lots and lots of options. Problem is, every watch face I've loaded up, not one has worked 100%. Either the weather isn't displaying or the heart beats or sunrise and sunset. It's something in every single one. So, figure out what the problem is, fix it, earn your 5 stars. Until then, 3

I have enjoyed using this app for years and since restarting my watch yesterday, nothing has been properly syncing. None of the faces are showing up properly on my watch. I've reinstalled the app on my phone and still nothing. I am going to be using the default face until facer figures something out. Disappointing.

Steps don't update and more often than not the facer app doesn't load the screen and I'm left with the default. I am using Google pixel. It's too bad, the app used to work great! I've tried a hard restart, uninstall and reinstall, as well as a factory reset of the watch. Nothing has fixed the issues.

I've used this app for almost 5 years and never had an issue with my samsung galaxy watch. I recently upgraded to the galaxy 6 watch and have been plagued with nonstop issues. The face freezes, temp, heart rate, temp, etc often refuses to sync and require me to reinstall the app. I have finally reached the piont of having to look for an alternate app.

It's OK. I like the idea and the convenience of having the option for so many watch faces in one app. I just wish they worked. The faces tend to load slowly and sometimes freezes my watch. When it didn't freeze, half the time, the faces don't load up correctly and are then unusable. This is also why I won't pay premium on it.

Not working. I downloaded a while ago for the free watches- worked great. Now that I decoded premium, I can not get faces to sync to watch at all. Not user friendly for those that aren't on top of the technology world. I'm going try a little longer and if nothing else, cancel. Watch faces are super cute just unable to get on watch. 🫤

So, while I've tried to enjoy this app and what it has to offer, I've just grown frustrated with the buggy nonsense going on with it. Purchases disappearing. Faces constantly freezing up or the silly amount of effort it takes to get a face set on my watch in the first place. It's just too unreliable. After 5 years, I'm throwing in the towel. Maybe it's a compatibility issue with Samsung watches; I don't know, but I've run out of craps to give about it.

Can't install on Pixel Watch 3. Hopefully this gets updated ASAP. Facer also takes a not-insignificant amount of time to load at random times on Pixel watches. It seems as if it just crashes and when I go to look at my watch, I have to wait for the app to load to be able to use my watch. If I turn the screen off, it resets how long I have to wait for it to load. Not ideal.

This app has glitches. Sometimes it takes seconds for your watch screen to turn on. It gets annoying. Also, I like to try new faces on my watch. I'm constantly having to restart the app because the download button doesn't work. Of course you have the pointless ads. Finally, I don't like that I can't view all of my favorite faces. I can only view a few.

The designs look great but most of the functionality doesn't work. Can't get steps to sync, distance doesn't work at all. Half the time the app seems to freeze on my watch or it will get stuck in a menu and not let me back out. Usually stops at the face selector and no matter how many times I tap to set it, it just cycles back to the same menu. I would love to use the app but its just inexcusably buggy.

Most of the time if you purchase a watch face individually, it won't show as purchased on your watch. It will keep saying "Preview Over" When you apply it and give the option of buying for $1.99 again, but if you click it, it will say "Error you already own this item". So it recognizes you've purchase the watch face, just doesn't wanna let you use it! :) Eventually I'll just have my financial institution reverse the charges for the faces I've bought so far. :) And this glitch scam can get lost!

Weather very wrong. I like the app and the warch faces, great selection. I'd even be willing to pay for some of them. I'm even willing to deal with the ads in the app. But the weather is 10+ degrees off. This ruins the experience for me. Facer, please stop using Openweather for the data, or give an option for some other weather service and I'll come back. For now, I'm uninstalling.
